I love the 500 Days of Summer soundtrack.
It was the first movie I've ever watched where the music playing really caught my attention. A lot of movies have good songs on the soundtrack, but not good enough for me to think, "I need these songs on my iPod."
I'm lazy of course, so I didn't get around to relistening to the songs/adding them to my iPod till yesterday.
My favorites from the soundtrack (I already spammed tumblr with these videos, haha):

Just makes me feel happier. I can remember what scene this song was playing in, haha.
I never really understood why girls at school are so obsessed with pop(?) songs sung by Asian boy bands who sing in a language most those girls can't understand. I still don't really understand (cuz the guys are cute?...the songs are catchy?...based on the translation it has meaning?), but I can now understand why people would like a song that's in a language they can't understand.
This song's so beautiful. I think it being sung in French makes it more beautiful, and it feels like the song's open to interpretation. It's whatever you think it is based on how it makes you feel.
Last song I'll be posting! I have to limit myself somewhere, haha.
I can remember when this song played in the movie too...expectations vs. reality. The song really fits that scene.

Hmm...I think I may have to edit my 500 Days of Summer review. I feel like I didn't fully get the impact of the movie. For example, someone who has experienced a situation similar to Tom in the movie would definitely appreciate and like the movie more than me. Basically anyone who is/has been in love or has been heartbroken would appreciate the movie more than me, so I guess that's why the movie wasn't that spectacular for me....because I just don't fully get it. The movie was good, but it wasn't to that other level for me.
Anyways, I hope you listen to the soundtrack and enjoy it!
