I don't want to be cheesy or anything, but there's a lot that I'm thankful for.Thanksgiving isn't all about the food (although it is mostly a legitimate reason to pig out)...it's also time to think about what you have and how lucky you are to have it! No more pessimism. Time to fill the glass half full(:

I'm thankful for...
...my family and friends....having a comfy home and having enough to eat...having luxuries like computers, TVs, iPods, etc....the opportunity to get an education ...the INTERNET! <333

I'm thankful for everything that I have, and those little things in life that manage to brighten my day(:

I elaborated on some of the things I'm thankful for...Click if interested.
I realized that this post was kind of superficial. I gave cliche, expected answers.

I'm gonna elaborate.

Family:

Family is very important. Your family, specifically your parents, help to mould you into the person that you are today. I'm not perfect. I have LOTS of flaws, but I'm thankful that I was raised by my family to be a fairly decent person. I know right from wrong. I have a pretty good conscience. If I saw someone accidentally drop $20 on the ground, I would pick it up and chase after them.

I'm thankful that my parents have a strong marriage. I know I never have to worry about them divorcing. It's a good feeling to know that your parents will stay together till the end.

My siblings are great. My older sister has taught me a lot. She always has funny stories to tell, and she's usually very upbeat and happy. I've always looked up to her, and I'm turning out to be similar to her in lots of ways. That's not much of a surprise though...I think it's pretty expected. I influence my little sister a lot...whether I like it or not. I like the person my older sister is, so I'm glad I'm turning out to be like her in ways.

My little sister has taught me a lot as well. She taught me how little kids were like. She taught me how to be motherly, more sensitive, and have patience. I've helped to raise her since she was born, and we're VERY close. Because of our age difference I'll always look at her in a motherly way, but we're mainly sisters and friends(:

My older brother and I are close. He's helped me be a better person. I didn't realize that sometimes words, even if said jokingly, can still hurt a person. I'm thankful that he helped me realize that you need to be very careful when joking around. Only joke around with people you're positive can handle it/understand it's a joke and you don't really mean it.

Friends:

Friends are my support. They get me through life. My best friends are close like family, but different than family, which is good. I can confide in them, and they're always there for me. Whenever we hang out I always laugh like crazy and forget any troubles I might be having. My friends's ability to make me laugh is what I'm most thankful for. Laughing is the best remedy out there.

***I might add on to this later.
