Hung out with Hamtaro, Jojo, and ALICEPOO today. It was fun, even though I could only stay for a couple hours. I bet they're still at the mall right now, haha. ^-^

Skip the bracketed text if you don't give a damn about how my day went. It's rather boring to read about people's day, isn't it?

[I woke up at 7am but shut my eyes and made myself fall back asleep. I did that a couple more times before finally getting out of bed at 9. -.-

I checked in on my sister who was just waking up. I made her pancakes for breakfast. She didn't eat them. Humph! Picky little girl.

Then I had to leave since we planned to meet up at 11. My unhelpful brother was watching youtube videos and ignored me when I asked him to keep our sister company and to lock the door after I left. So I yelled at him. He finally responded, but I missed the bus cuz of him. I called Hamtaro and talked to her until the next bus came.

When I got to the mall I went to the Apple Store where Hammy was. Then later Jojo came and tried to sneak up on us. Aha, we were not scared. :D Actually, I kind of was since I turned around and BAM! she was right there. We camwhored for about 1 minute. ^-^

After the Apple Store, we went to Wetzel's Pretzels and then to Starbucks. Jojo and I got green tea frappuccinos. Ahhh, so good! Jojo's frappuccino had a lot of whipped cream on top while mine had a tiny amount. We LOL'd at that.

We looked around at stores. ALICEPOO came while we were at American Eagle. Then we went to this Asian clothing store. I didn't notice how huge a lot of the clothes there were until ALICEPOO pointed it out. I liked a jacket there. It was soft and pretty. I didn't get it.

I just realized that we spent a lot of time pointing at random clothes and saying, "You should get this" to each other. We did that multiple times at each store we went to, haha.

When we went to Wet Seal, I took forever there. Sorry you guys. D: There was a "Tees + Tanks 3 for $15" thing that I wanted to do. I took a long time picking out the 3 tops. I don't know why.

1 gray tank top, 1 purple tank top, and 1 black v-neck shirtPhotobucket

There were a couple girls at Wet Seal who we used to go to school with. They're a year younger than us and rather bitchy. -.- One of them put her hair up, and it looked like she was wearing a gigantic bumpit in her hair.

After Wet Seal I had to head home. :'( My mom didn't want me to stay out for too long because she wanted me to watch my sister, even though my brother and grandparents were home. Oh well, I don't mind. I'm a homebody anyway, haha.

I said bye and left the mall. When I was walking to the bus stop I saw MY OLD MATH TEACHER. Fuck'n scary. I immediately averted my eyes and turned by head away so he wouldn't see my face. I glanced back at him though cuz he looked like he was with his family, and I got curious. I didn't think he was married.

It was so weird seeing him outside of a mall. Why wasn't he in a math classroom or something?

After many minutes, the bus finally came. I got on the bus and sat next to a smelly woman who I've seen 2 times before. Later a girl from school got on the bus. I admire her. She seems confident in herself, yet not to the point where it's arrogance.

Then, as you can predict, I got off the bus and walked home.

THE END.

Wish I could've hung out with you guys longer! But of course I've got to respect my mother's wishes. Psh, riiiiighhhttt.]

Sneak peek at something I'm working on!

How's Valentine's Day treating you? How has Chinese New Year been? (That is if you celebrate either or both of them.)

Hopefully good!

If you're like me, you're indifferent to both of those events.

Maybe in the future Valentine's Day or Chinese New Year will be special for me, but for now they're just like any other day. Well except for the fact that I've gotten candy and money because of them, haha. ^-^

I'm not really sure what to do with this post. I feel like I have to do the obligatory V-day and CNY post, but I have nothing to say about them!...so I guess just enjoy the pictures I'll be posting below. :D

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

Enjoy the rest of the evening. :]

Yesterday I had no internet connection. Fuck.

It's all good now. :)

I said I was going to buy candy so I could give it to people at school for Valentine's Day, but I didn't. Friday has passed, and giving out candy on Monday (when Valentine's Day has passed) would be...weird. I suck. -.-

Remember the days of elementary school? Where everyone had to give cards + candy to all their classmates? Those were the good days. Writing things inside the cards...taping up candy inside...Then at school we all had containers for people to put our valentine's in. We'd walk around and put the cards + candy in the appropriate containers, then we'd sit in our seats and smile at all the valentine's we received. We'd shuffle through the valentine's and ooh and ahh over people who gave cool cards or gave out the best candy. When we saw a card from a best friend, we'd smile even bigger.

I miss elementary school.

Four square, tether-ball, jump rope, Sharks and Minnows, The States Game, and TAMAGOTCHIS.

ANYWAYS (*coughALICEPOOcough*), time to stop reminiscing. I think I've already written a blog entry before (on a different blog) about elementary school.

Picture time :D

THE TWIN PICTURE THAT I MENTIONED TAKING. ;)

And before I end this entry:

Happy early Valentine's Day and CNY.

I feel happier and more positive these days. It's a nice feeling. I guess I wasn't unhappy before, but I was focusing too much on the negative? I'm still trying to learn how to make the best of my time on Earth and how to savor all the good moments though...so I guess it's a work in progress.

I also realized that I like the sun more. Usually I'd pick chilly weather over a sun and heat filled day...but when I was walking to gym class, the sun shone on my face for a few seconds. The sunshine felt so friendly and inviting, and I felt like just lying down right there on the concrete, soaking in the rays.

After school I went to check out Cooking Club. Ninja Sis told me that the club needed more members. I'm going to try and be the club's historian next school year...taking pictures and making a photo album of the things the club does. I need a camera though! I have summer to earn money for one at least, haha.

There's a lot of weirdos in Cooking Club. I love it. They're the awesome type of weirdos...not the creepy weirdos. They're so funny and random.

We made chocolate chip pancakes in the club today. Nom nom nom.

The pancake I made looked like a pancake and tasted like one...so success? One of the older club members complimented me on it. *high fives Bob*

When the club ended, I took the bus home with Ninja Sis. :) I took some pictures with my phone while waiting at the bus stop. I have a picture of identical twins running with each other saved on my phone. Yes, I am creepy. So tomorrow I'll upload the pics I took. Should I upload the picture of the identical twins? It's the back of their heads so their faces aren't revealed. ^-^

On a less positive note: I feel like there's going to be tension building between a couple of my friends? Ahh, this is making me worry.

This girl in my class helped me realize that you can have a ton of clothes yet manage to look the same every day.

She just bugs me for no real reason. I've never spoken to her, so I'm basing my annoyance for her solely on how she dresses. How sad of me.

She dresses so predictably though! I can predict what she'll wear tomorrow: a hoodie from Hollister or Abercrombie, skinny jeans, uggs, and her hair will be in pigtails. Well I've actually seen her wear off-the-shoulder tops before, but that bugged me too even though it was something different. Even when she wears different styled clothing, it STILL feels predictable to me because it seems predictable for Hollister/Abercrombie wearing girls who think they're fashionable. I mean seriously? Hollister/Abercrombie + Uggs just screams...I don't know the word for it, but it just screams SOMETHING.

Yeah, maybe I should stop taking notice of how she dresses (before people call me obsessed). It's her style, and she's not hurting anyone except for me because I have to look at her every day. I just really think that the stores she gets most her clothes at are so overrated. Not to mention overpriced.

Abercrombie Zombie?

(And by the way, this isn't saying that I'm fashionable or anything. Cuz I'm not. Ahahaha. -.-)

***************

Today at school, the freshmen had to watch a play that contained information about HIV/AIDS, other STDs, and how to stay safe. :|

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! At first I felt that the play was unnecessary because we've already been taught these kinds of things, but the play acted out some scenarios of what could happen when doing "unsafe activities" which made it all seem more real I guess. The play was also pretty funny, so it didn't feel like we were just getting a ton of info shoved down our throats.

The girl sitting next to me was really loud though. She thought that one of the actors was cute, so she decided to tell her friend every 5 minutes how cute she thought he was. "Oh my gawd, he's so cute!" Then halfway in the play she decided to refer to him as her boyfriend. "He's so cute! That's my boyfriend!" "My boyfriend is so cute!" She was also giggling nonstop and saying "AWWWW" every time her "boyfriend" did something.

Oh well, she seems like a nice person.

Originally, my first review ever was going to be on a moisturizer. I didn't think I would be able to type up a good enough review for it, so instead my first review ever will be on a movie! I'm not good at analyzing things, but I can at least give my opinion on the movie. :) (By the way, I know this review might be pointless since the movie's already been out for so long, but oh well. I just watched it on Saturday, so I guess this review is mainly for my own benefit.)

500 Days of Summer

"This is not a love story. This is a story about love."

Photobucket

Summary: Tom (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) works at a greeting card company. Summer (Zooey Deschanel) gets hired as an assistant there, and Tom notices her right away. Later they get into a relationship, but Summer says from the start that she just wants it to be casual...She says that she doesn't believe in true love and destiny. Tom agrees to a casual relationship but ends up falling in love with her.

Photobucket

Highlight the words in the brackets if you want to read a spoiler-filled summary.

[The two of them get into a relationship after Tom's drunken friend tells Summer that Tom likes her. They date for many months, and Tom believes that Summer is the one. Unfortunately for Tom, Summer doesn't feel the same way about him. One day she suddenly breaks up with him and quits her job at the greeting card company. Tom becomes depressed, and it effects his work. His boss notices his depression and makes Tom write cards for losses and deaths so he can channel his sadness into them. Some months later Tom attends a wedding. He bumps into Summer on the way there. She's also attending the wedding. They talk on the train ride to the wedding, and during the wedding they dance and enjoy each other's company. When the bride throws her bouquet, Summer catches it. Later Summer invites Tom to her apartment for a party. Tom agrees to go and thinks this is his chance to get her back. The reality of what happens at the party does not match Tom's expectations. He notices that Summer is wearing an engagement ring and rushes out of her apartment. He becomes deeply depressed. When he goes to work, he quits his job. He works on being an architect like he always wanted to be. Near the end of the movie, Summer finds Tom at his favorite spot. He doesn't get why she would get married since she told him she didn't believe in it. Summer explains to him about her marriage. She now believes in love and destiny. Days later, Tom goes in for a job interview and meets a woman who is going after the same job as him. Before he goes in for his interview, he asks her out for coffee. She accepts and tells him that her name is Autumn.]

I give this movie 4/5 cookies.

Photobucket

This movie had funny moments, sad moments, and moments that made you think. Overall, pretty good! :D I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

For the most part, the movie was interesting. I wasn't completely sucked into it though which I guess is why I gave it 4 cookies and not 5. During some parts of the movie I felt a little bored*, but I guess it's because the movie isn't supposed to be extraordinary or dramatic. It's realistic and could actually happen to people.

Photobucket

I like how the movie has a nonlinear narrative (aha, I feel smart for using that term). The movie jumps back and forth to different days of Tom's life since he first met Summer which makes things interesting. I also liked the part in the movie where the screen was split in half. One half showed what Tom wanted to happen (Expectations), and the other half showed what actually happened (Reality).

Photobucket

Other things I liked about the movie: the acting and the soundtrack. :D

Things I didn't like: Summer

I just felt like she was a big meanie to Tom, haha. That's all I have to say.

Would I recommend this movie to someone? Yes. ^-^

I credit all 500 Days of Summer images to Google Images since I'm a very lazy girl.

*I think if you've ever been in a situation like in the movie, or is/have been in love, you'd appreciate the movie much more than me. I just don't fully get the movie or feel the impact, so that's the only reason why I say I was slightly bored. It's because I just can't fully understand or relate.

Today was okay. Not a good day, not a bad day. Lunch was the highlight of my day as usual. Ai threw my pen into the air, and it fell apart when it landed. Then he and a couple other people spent the rest of lunch trying to fix it. Like 20 minutes. When they finally put it back together, the ink in the pen wouldn't come out. AHAHA, suckers. Ai owes me a new pen. 8)

After school I went to photography club with Ninja Sis. The people in photography club were really funny and nice! They weren't used to newcomers though, haha. One of them taught us how to develop film. It was cool, but the photos all turned out pretty light. They were in black and white, and the guy who was teaching us said that there wasn't enough contrast in the photos so that's why it was all faint. Or something like that.

While we were in the dark room (which actually also doubles as a janitor's closet), these two girls randomly came in. One of them had a Russian accent and was a total bitch meanie. She was criticizing the photography club for its lack of "professional" tools. While the guy was teaching Ninja Sis and me how to develop film, she was just looking around with this snobby look on her face and asked him condescending questions. The friend that came with her didn't say much but sort of backed up Russian-accent-girl like any good follower would. >:]

Shopping yesterday with Hammy and Jojo!

We went shopping at WF.

FIRST STOP. Random food place for bagels.

NEXT STOP. Starbucks for green tea frappuccinos.

THIRD STOP. American Eagle?Photobucket

(I tried taking a "cool" photo of us in the reflection of those sunglasses...but as you can see, it failed)

AND THEN...FOREVER 21!We were going to camwhore at F21, but some random, middle-aged man walked by us and said, "No taking pictures in here, ladies."

AFTER THAT. ROSS...where I got this shirt:

Photobucket

LATER. Old Navy.

After Old Navy, we took the bus to a different mall. We ate lunch at the McDonald's nearby. ~Ba-da-ba-ba-baaaa, I'm lovin' it. O_O

We looked around the mall for a little bit then went to a book store.

That's where I found this:

"When you wish upon a unicorn, all your dreams come true!"

I wanna buy one of those so I can wish for a unicorn on it.

Well, good bye wordpress.

I'll be posting a review soon!

I wish some bloggers would update their blogs more often! Of course they actually have a life, unlike me, so they don't have the time to blog every day. What a shame.

Whenever it's the weekend, I decide to become a total fatass. I snack like crazy.

I hate when I keep checking the fridge for food when I know there's nothing good inside.

I had this for breakfast. Looks pretty unhealthy, right? Well at least it tastes good. :\

At the moment I'm watching a really cheesy movie on TV. It's one of those typical teen/high school movies about a dorky girl crushing on the most popular guy in school. Ashley Tisdale plays the main character (dorky girl). I would rant about how pointless and unrealistic movies like this are, but then again I am watching it when no one's making me. So now I'll just shut up about the movie.

QWERTYUIOPASDFGHJKLZXCVBNM! My dad says the family's getting new phones soon. I wonder if I should stick with the phone I have right now though. It's my dad's old blackberry and is very much abused, but I've grown quite attached to it. I love getting new technology thoughhhh. So shiny and sleek and new! Except my dad says the new phones will most likely be flip phones. Psh, flip phones are so, like, LAST YEEAARRR. *snobby hair toss* SO WHY AM I EVEN TALKING ABOUT THIS?!

Shopping plans tomorrow with Hammy and Jojo. I'll be on the lookout for a camera necklace. I tried googling stores I could get one at, but no luck. What stores are my best chances? Claire's? F21?

Is online shopping the way to go?

Should I try making one out of shrinky dink?

These are the questions that keep me up at night.

Ninja Sis picked me that flower and told me to give it to someone. I did eenie meanie miney moe and landed on HalfFull, so I gave him it. Then Ai put the flower in his mouth. Later Kawaii squished it with her shoe (by accident). THE END.

RIP little flower fella. :(

My five minute stalking mission with Ninja Sis-

Mission: To find the guy in her math class that she thinks is cute.

Results: Successful mission.

Thoughts: He's not that cute. ;)

"Zeus then sent his messenger, Hermes, to his servant Aeolus, lord of the winds, and commanded him to imprison in his cave the winds that dry the earth and bring clear weather, but to free all the storm winds. Out flew the dreaded South Wind, shrouded in black clouds. His beard was swollen with showers, and rain poured from his wings and his clothing. As he flew, his hands made the heavens roar, for he crushed all the moisture out of the clouds around him, causing heavy rains to fall upon land and sea."

Greek mythology is so damn fascinating. The visuals it creates are pretty awesome.

*******

Lunch was so relaxing and fun today. :)

Stilts and Ai were being crazy as usual, and I got to sit back and laugh at their silly antics.

After school I walked home with the rain gently drizzling down. My left shoulder was sore when I got home because I have a bad habit of slinging my backpack on one shoulder. I tried putting my backpack on both my shoulders, but it felt uncomfortable because I couldn't get the straps into equal lengths. -.-

Later my mom sent me to my sister's school where I accompanied my sister to her piano lesson. Her piano teacher is kind of a self-centered bitch. I don't like her attitude towards kids, and I'm doubting her piano skills. She seems like one of those people that have no talent yet have the nerve to teach and act like they're God's gift.

And now I have homework to do.

Something that makes me happy? Remembering that tomorrow is Friday. :)
